Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) Growth gives us rich data and evidence of student learning and challenges. Thus providing us with the ability to personalize instruction and analyze program effectiveness.
MAP Growth, part of the Growth Activation Solution from Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA), is the most trusted and innovative assessment for measuring achievement and growth in K–12 math, reading, language usage, and science. It provides teachers with accurate, actionable evidence to help inform instructional strategies regardless of how far students are above or below grade level. It also connects to the largest set of instructional content providers, giving educators flexibility in curriculum choices.
GASB administers MAP testing three times a year - fall, winter, and spring. Teachers use the information attained to customize the students individual program.
