Going
to Mass
Guardian
Angel St. Boniface School
celebrates over 100 years of Catholic school tradition each morning
when the school bell rings, and GASB students begin their day with
opening prayer. Though "youthfully" unaware of the precious
heritage they share, the majority of pupils who are currently enrolled
represent third, fourth, and even fifth generation families to attend
the school. The school's philosophy goes a step beyond basic educational
objectives by providing a Christian atmosphere in which students
may learn, develop a realistic appreciation of their own worth,
and promote the dignity of others. Supporting their school motto
of Catholic - Caring - Community, the students and
staff express these values in prayer, worship and service.
Guardian
Angel St. Boniface School serves the families of St. Boniface Catholic
Church in Uniontown and St. Gall Catholic Church in Colton, as well
as families in the surrounding Palouse farm region. Fully approved
and accredited by the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction,
GASB School was awarded a full six-year accreditation status in
May of 2006 by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools and
the Western Catholic Education Association. By completing the intensive
self-study process and meeting the rigorous standards of the accrediting
associations, GASB School staff and community are committed to quality
education and continued improvement. As a result of the self-study
process, GASB operates from the charters of a strategic plan and
from the goals and targets of a school improvement plan (SIP). Both
of these plans are annually reviewed, discussed and updated by the
school's organizational committees, parents and school staff members.
